Monthly size-acceptance swims at the Huntington Beach City Gym & Pool.
Usually on the second or third Saturday evening of each month from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The recommended donation is $10 per person but please donate what you can. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Everyone is welcome!
We rent out the pool just for our group, so it is very private. Whether you’re size 4, 14, or 4X, all are welcome to enjoy the warm waters for our bob & chat (otherwise known as “The Swim”).
- Men’s and Women’s changing rooms and showers.
- Handicap accessible.
- Plenty of free street parking.
- Lifeguard on duty.

This is the old SAFE Size Acceptance for Empowerment swim location, we moved to Fullerton YMCA after prices went up in Huntington Beach at the City Gym and pool, and then we moved to Anaheim Salvation Army when their prices went up, but the Anaheim pool replaced their stairs with less fat freindly ones and our super sized friends have a hard time with them.
